Project Goals
Create an improved localized user experience by implementing an enhanced profile logic to automatically detect a users region. An enhanced profile logic includes measurement and currency detection, cookie customization, and hiding platform features based on Geotab’s global expansion strategy. By enhancing the personalization of the overall Geotab platform experience, we can increase engagement and reduce user friction.
Outcomes & Impact
The redesign delivered a seamless, device-agnostic experience by optimizing layouts and workflows for mobile users, improving usability and accessibility. Automated localization updates currency, timezone, measurements, and language based on the user’s region, ensuring a personalized global experience while allowing full customization for flexibility. Additionally, improved information architecture organizes content logically, aligning with user expectations and introducing new controls such as job priority selection, cookie settings, and interface customization to enhance usability and support deeper personalization.
