Designing for Growing Bodies, Busy Screens, and a Bold Brand
KT by Knix is a teen-focused period underwear brand with a bold voice, a growing customer base, and a very mobile audience. But the mobile site’s experience didn’t reflect that energy—it was inconsistent, cluttered, and hard to navigate. I was brought in to redesign key mobile components, focusing on product reviews. I helped transform the experience into something modular and true to KT’s voice.
Simplified mobile layout, reusable components, and a clearer hierarchy to support confident discovery and conversion.
From Problem to Solution
To support KT’s growing teen audience, I explored 2 mobile-first approaches to improve the product review experience. The first, a “safe” concept, prioritized user trust and familiarity, drawing on UI patterns from platforms like Google Reviews and Instagram to create a clean and intuitive interface that encouraged quick engagement. The second, a “risky” concept, leaned into a more dynamic, TikTok-inspired model with swipeable, full-screen testimonials designed to capture attention and bring authenticity to the forefront. I led the design direction for both concepts, balancing brand voice and user needs.
